moral, ethics and culture of islam
In a society there will always be a domineering culture, system and conscience. No such thing as absolute multiculturalism where every culture gets an equal share of existence and authority. An existence of a domineering system does not mean discrimination or persecution of minority. If the minority as a member of the parliament has to read Islamic law and jurisprudence relating to business, economy or crimes for example then it is not violating his or her rights or is not discriminating them in any way. To pass laws and understand the legal system of a nation, which is Islamic in this case, one must adhere to its literature and resources. If a minority including the majority for example has to stop smoking/drinking in public areas as part of adab (moral law) then this is not violating anyone’s rights or discriminating anyone. However Islamic rule will allow minority to live by their religious laws and customs in a limited way and even have a separate legal system based on this imitation. This is unprecedented in west or east but only Islam allows such a hybrid system. That is why historically non-Muslims had more rights under Islamic rule than under western Christianity or colonial period. However today multiculturism is a deceptive word to only mean western liberalism which in reality demands integration of non-whites to mostly white culture yet only giving their races and ethnicities a sense of acceptance. Fascism is however worse and does not even tolerate non-white races and ethnicities. White races today have been defined as: Caucasian and Slavic people and white fascists are from these two races. Today Muslims like to copy other cultures (praxis). This copying has come to the level of Muslim creativity shutdown. This copying is widespread that is across Muslim demographics and copying excessive domains of cultural praxis most of which are un-Islamic. An un-Islamic culture is rooted in some practice or belief which is haram. Some examples are new year, Christmas, Halloween. Muslims must first prioritize their religious culture such as Eid, special Islamic days which had special events happening historically such as the conquest of aggressive hostile Byzantine by Ottoman Caliph, then Muslims must create their own unique cultural habits and praxis realized through familial upbringing, education and Islamic entertainment industry. Islamic culture must not echo nationalism, racism, tribalism or ethnic zeal or fervor but remind us of our Islamic brotherhood, equity towards mankind in general and resistance against tyranny and tyrants. Observation of culture is different from admiration of it, remember. Learning a culture to understand it and making such understanding a tool to empower Islamic Ummah must not violate Islamic laws. You do not have to behave and pray like a Hindu to understand some aspects of Hindu culture. You can observe them or read about them to know their culture, so minimal participation is sought whenever possible. So, Muslim must understand when he is learning a culture or when he is participating in it. Due to colonial legacy and a devastation of Muslim cognitive and intellectual capacities this has become very difficult. This difference between observation and admiration comes from the fact that not all cultures emanate and manifest the glory and values of the Divine True God. The Muslim mind must not debase itself by admiration of other cultures which seldom emanate and manifest the values of the True God and His religion Islam. When I say culture, I do not mean the universal humanistic values God imbued into children of Adam. I mean praxis which centers around their racial, ethnic, tribal, national and religious identities, empowerment and zeal. Lastly, culture is a set of beliefs, values, actions, habits and customs of a people irrespective its origin or source. So, for Muslims it is Islam as the source and origin.

Quran 2:138
(We take our) colour from Allah, and who is better than Allah at colouring. We are His worshippers. (FBL)
Commentary of verse 2:138
The whole religion of Islam is color from God, of which a crucial aspect of this color is Islamic identity culture. However Islamic identity culture has been eroded by western identity culture due to colonialism. This means western identity culture and not technology or knowledge because these are universal to human heritage. Modern western civilization has been founded on Islamic golden age and it’s contributions so we definitely must not take knowledge as part of making a culture. Culture simply needs to be an identity which separates one culture from another. It is a rather collective cumulative identity because at times some individual aspects of an identity culture can be shared among two or more cultures.
The crucial thing to consider is when are Muslims accepting an identity culture based on Shariah law. When it comes to forbidden things of another identity culture it is clear Muslims must abandon them such as Halloween, Christmas celebration, Valentine day, Feminism, sex out of wedlock, alcohol, gambling etc. However when something is permitted from another identity culture then to what extent Muslims must accept them? Will it be ok to replace a permissible aspect of another culture with something of Islamic culture? For example during Ramadan it is a recommended Sunnah to eat dates but can Muslims in west for example replace this Sunnah with a Irish breakfast or English supper given everything in them are permissible? Are we allowed to erode Islamic culture by another foreign permissible identity culture? It seems colonialism has caused this erosion. Here for example once Muslims were proud to wear turban and robe as a symbol of Prophetic Sunnah but now, we have replaced them with suites, trousers and ties. Islamic republic of Iran has officially tried to resist this identity culture by banning the tie. Examples like these are many where Muslims have been overwhelmed by foreign identity culture whether such culture is forbidden such as governance by secular laws or permissible such as the simple example of English breakfast.
Muslims are composed of diverse languages and geographies and their culture may be different, but this is acceptable when the demography is mostly Muslims unlike western demography where Muslims are minority. Irrespective of the demography Muslims must adhere to Islamic culture and then their respective local culture filtered through Islam. Islamic culture can be identified by normative model where an identity culture has been prescribed by Islamic texts such as governance by Shariah law or the simple case of eating date during Ramadan or filter model where a foreign identity culture is filtered through Islam. Either the filter will render it forbidden or permissible. When it is permissible, we must be sure that it does not erode an established normative Islamic culture so occasional adherence is ok without it being a pattern and norm. Sometimes we may have a foreign identity culture which may have no equivalence it replacement in Islam and in this moment, we must look into it’s purpose, significance and consequence before accepting it or rejecting it as a practice for Muslims. The important thing is Muslims should prioritize Islamic normative identity culture and create new based on Islam and if a foreign identity culture is permissible by Shariah then such needs to be practiced/participated minimally that is the practice of this culture should not overwhelm “Muslim following and admiration” of that foreign identity culture as a whole and increasingly.
Quran 16:116
And do not say about what your tongues assert of untruth, "This is lawful and this is unlawful," to invent falsehood about Allah . Indeed, those who invent falsehood about Allah will not succeed. (FBL/NFBL)
Commentary of verse 16:116
This verse is also applicable to all those so-called Islamic scholars who willingly and voluntarily hang around despot royals, tyrannical rulers and corrupt politicians of Muslim demography. They twist and turn the message and commands of Quran and Prophet to suit the interests of these corrupt misguided individuals of Muslim political establishment. Islam's greatest enemies have always been hypocrites within, and it is these same hypocrites that have allowed and emboldened outside enemies of Islam. For example, Zionist occupation would not have succeeded like this if it were not for hypocrites among Muslims. Also consider in this verse the so-called modernists who want Islam also to be defined and understood through western liberalism. Western colonialism and now neocolonialism have been defining the world for too long, so these misguided Muslim liberals have been deceived by this longevity and want Islam to accommodate that, but Islam is about creating an alternate unique model of existence. Islam is a civilization builder and bringer of divine honor to earthly creatures and there is no honor in supporting colonial legacies. To achieve a glorious Islamic civilization, we need Islamic human capital and people who will not be backstabbers against Islamic rule.
Quran 4:140
And it has already come down to you in the Book that when you hear the verses of Allah [recited], they are denied [by them] and ridiculed; so do not sit with them until they enter into another conversation. Indeed, you would then be like them. Indeed Allah will gather the hypocrites and disbelievers in Hell all together –(Quran 4:140) (FBL)
Commentary of Quran 4:140
This verse commands the Muslims not to give support or attention to abuse and insult to Islam. If the disbelievers cease such insult then Muslims can again engage in normal talk with them. This ceasing of abuse and insult can be voluntary or can be enforced by Islamic law. Verse 6:68 is similar but it was revealed in Mecca when Muslims were weak and had no political authority but in Medina Muslims had political power and thus various legal actions could be taken and likewise under an Islamic jurisdiction the law can take actions against insult, abuse and incitement.
Quran 24:22
And let not those of virtue among you and wealth swear not to give [aid] to their relatives and the needy and the emigrants for the cause of Allah, and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (FBL/NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 24:22
This verse establishes that no mechanism or model must be adopted by the rich which deny the poor and needy their rights of charity and welfare. The highest and strongest of these models of withholding is taking oath in name of God to withhold welfare. So, the Muslim rich people must not be withholding the rights of needy by oath and neither the rich people in general. Islamic government must see to this that wealth distribution is not withheld, and it flows from rich to poor. It's about creating transparency in financial activities also.
Quran 49:6
O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 49:6
Muslims must have a habit of reason and inquiry. They must be inquisitive about the information they receive. This verse implies that the Muslim is intelligent and aware and not gullible and meek. The Muslim is not a blind follower of the establishment, even the Islamic government. Muslims must practice verification and validation, research and critical reasoning to make their existence and that of Islamic rule healthy and strong. This verse establishes a great defense mechanism against psyops from Islam's enemies. The Islamic media must be based and principled on this verse. Islamic government must abandon censoring of information and knowledge unless such is propaganda and blatant lies against people, group, individual or idea or violates any of the Islamic laws. However propaganda and lies can also be allowed only if this is refuted by proof and put in a database of propaganda and lies along with proofs, for everyone to see. Ministry of information can do this. This verse also created the science of hadith which is essentially information checking, verification and validation.
Quran 22:30
That [has been commanded], and whoever honors the sacred ordinances of Allah - it is best for him in the sight of his Lord…(FBL)
Commentary of Quran 22:30
This verse encourages us to honor and venerate the signs of Islam. The form and model of such veneration may be either specified by Quran and Prophet or may be voluntary by Muslims thus becoming a cultural praxis. The example of former is the ritual of Hajj for example while the latter can be celebrating the birthday of Prophet or celebrating the war victories of Prophet (pbuh) and great Islamic generals for example. Such voluntary praxis must not entail any new creedal beliefs, or new ritualistic normative forms. For example, some misguided Sufis have made ritualistic models whom they think as essentials of Islam. This is not venerating the signs of Islam.
Quran 7:33
Say, "My Lord has only forbidden immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed - and sin, and oppression without right, and that you associate with Allah that for which He has not sent down authority, and that you say about Allah that which you do not know." (FBL/NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 7:33
Islam has forbidden belief in and performance of moral vices, sins, unjustified transgression and polytheism whether done in private or public. If doing in public or private harms other people, then it becomes an issue of Islamic jurisdiction to enforce laws against it. These are broad general categories which have been detailed in various other verses of Quran and Sunnah of prophet.
Quran 5:90
O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah ], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful. (FBL/NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 5:90
God has forbidden here all intoxicants, gambling and idol veneration. The harms of these things are statistically immense on health, mind and society at large. Islamophobic people say if alcohol harms then so does sugar and red meat. This is a weak analogy and comparison. Drugs, alcohol, tobacco, prostitution, gambling etc. are causes of domestic violence, social moral decays, various crimes, financial losses, health hazards etc. These things not only cause harm to yourself but also transgress on others, unlike sugar or red meat for example. The harms of these are immense, widespread, fast and long lasting unlike sugar or red meat for example whose harms are less than its benefits and can be often reversed and managed. The harms of sugars and red meat however arises when taken excessively thus violating the Quranic command of prohibition against wasting/excess.

Quran 4:29
…And do not kill yourselves [or one another]. Indeed, Allah is to you ever Merciful. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 4:29
God prohibits suicide. Nothing can justify suicide in Islam like pork eating for example is justified under necessity. Islamic legal maxim states necessity permits the prohibited but only when this necessity saves your life and limb. It is crucial to demarcate necessity, but it is not possible all the time. Say if you do not kill yourself your children will not survive or suffer for life. These kinds of hypothetical instances may be rare but in this cruel and godless world it happens. In such instance you must be determined to do jihad and not kill yourself and suffer together with your children. If your children do not survive then that is what God has ordained. Does being transplant living donors similar to killing yourself? No, because the probability of death of donor is little and definitely not certain or causative. Quran 49:11
O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent - then it is those who are the wrongdoers. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 49:11
These negative aspects of cultural interaction are hallmarks of racism, xenophobia, tribalism, elitism and bullying. In this verse God prohibits collective judgement, collective punishment and underestimation of other people. Islamic cross-cultural interaction must be based on mutual respect and understanding whether the other culture and people are a minority under Islamic jurisdiction or a group outside Islamic jurisdiction. Muslims thus must represent Islam and Muslims, as a noble ideology and a well-mannered welcoming people within limits of Shariah law that is such hospitality must not erode Islamic identity or weaken Islamic jurisdiction. We must be careful to differentiate between insult and criticism. Insult is directed at a person’s relationship, looks, lineage and human dignity whereas criticism is directed at a person’s beliefs and actions.
Quran 2:188
And do not consume one another's wealth unjustly or send it [in bribery] to the rulers in order that [they might aid] you [to] consume a portion of the wealth of the people in sin, while you know [it is unlawful]. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 2:188
Muslims whether public servant or private individuals and businesses must shun bribery, fraud and corruption. When you cheat, fraud or bribe this may help you individually but collectively and synergistically have wide-ranging negative effects on society, and people. When you do not cheat, fraud or bribe this may harm you individually but collectively and synergistically have wide-ranging positive effects on society, and people and in time your harm will replace as benefit and prosperity. Unfortunately corrupt, unjust Muslim politicians and rulers have given Muslim countries the identity of corruption and injustice.
Quran 2:195
And spend in the way of Allah and do not throw [yourselves] with your [own] hands into destruction [by refraining]. And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good. (FBL/NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 2:195
God has commanded the believers both individual and collective to spend in His way. Such spending need, to be balanced and must not bring harm to the Muslims, or the spenders. Islamic financial ventures must thus be empowering first to the Muslim diaspora and not destructive to people, environment, human rights and animals.
Quran 31:17
O my son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and be patient over what befalls you. Indeed, [all] that is of the matters [requiring] determination. (FBL/NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 31:17
The Muslim individual in times of hardship and suffering must not forget his or her religion and God, and must persevere to attain self-enlightenment, vision from God and hope. This is a consequence of patient efforts under God. This verse highlights the fact Muslims must never abandon their values for worldly gains and must stand firm on Islamic values as dignified citizens of heaven.
Quran 22:77
O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good - that you may succeed. (FBL)
Commentary of Quran 22:77
This success is both worldly and in afterlife. When we bow down, prostrate and worship God then these are not merely physical actions only but also a mindset and purpose that drive the Muslim individual and their collective existence. This mindset and purpose is what will make the Muslims succeed in this world and in afterlife by God’s help. For Muslims the worldly success is not only individual personal, mental, material and spiritual gains but also seeing glory of the ummah through Islamic self-determination spiritually, mentally, morally and materially.
Quran 24:19
Indeed, those who like that immorality should be spread [or publicized] among those who have believed will have a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And Allah knows and you do not know. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 24:19
This verse prohibits spread of any immorality, vices, sinful activities among the believers. That is, DO NOT spread prohibited beliefs and actions among Muslims and their demography. Will Muslim governments leave the Muslim population vulnerable by the excuse that only God can punish these spreaders of sins and not us? God has already given the criminal laws and other related guidance to prevent such immoral atmosphere. We saw before how Hisbah is one tool to prevent this immoral agenda of Islam’s enemies. Today these immoral activities are many but most noteworthy are pornification of society, free sex doctrine, nudity, LGBTQ and prostitution in the name of tourism and economy, in the name of tolerance and drugs, alcohol, tobacco etc.
Quran 16:125
Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided. (FBL)
Commentary of Quran 16:125
This is a command to the Prophet of Islam where God teaching him the protocols of preaching. Some believers i.e. Muslims should follow the Prophet in preaching Islam, and they must be those who a) have sufficient wisdom and skills of argument and rhetoric, and b) a calm composure so that argument does not become personal c) finance and other resources. This preaching is not only done towards non-Muslims but also towards Muslims who have deviated. This is not only spiritual preaching but can also be political and social activism to empower Islam and human rights through Islamic governance. The highest purpose of Dawah is to bring an existential collective change and that is through political change. Islam had revolutionized the pagan political landscape of Mecca and Arabia by multilayered approach of Prophet: preaching, diplomacy, war. It was not merely a Dawah like the Tableegh Jamat but more like the Dawah of Imam Khomeini and Hasan Al-Banna. Prophet's participation in Hilful Fudhul is a clear proof of the political mindset of Prophet pbuh and that he not only wanted personal changes of the Arabs but also their political changes. In fact, the two are interlinked. Why didn’t the pagans of Mecca accept the call to Islam? It was because the reason and rational of Prophet and His companions were so critical and revolutionary that it had resulted in persecution of all forms. Simply put because the highly effective and efficient call to Islam which Prophet presented was not only merely a call to change our personal selves but also a call to change our political, economic, social, military and cultural existence. Prophet welcomed everyone who accepted this change but accommodated everyone according to their faith. This new system ruled by Islam was meant to establish divine humanity, justice, equity and framework of human government. Prophet had achieved this Islamic rule, in other words hukm Allah by being a father, a preacher, a political leader, a general, a spy master, a financer and a judge. Hence when God commands us to preach Islam by wisdom and argument it merely asks us to achieve the end-product of this Prophetic mission i.e. Islamic rule through Sharia law, over our personal selves and our collective existence. The Prophetic mission is a framework and roadmap towards that end. Any non-Muslim are welcome to join this Islamic rule and he or she will be respected, protected and his or her religion tolerated. One thing is clear from the discussion of Prophet’s mission is that He fought pagan secularism and any or all forces which threaten Islam’s sovereignty. A favorable ground must always be found to initiate the Prophetic journey.
However, Muslims today are losing the information war due to weak models of preaching:
One point needs to be mentioned here. Can non-Islamic faith preach publicly in Islamic jurisdiction (not necessarily Muslim country)? The answer is if the jurisdiction is under political Islam, that is Islamic governance then no, but if the jurisdiction is secular even though Muslim then there is no problem in preaching non-Islamic faith. The reason for this is preaching non-Islamic faith in an Islamic jurisdiction is anti-establishment and tantamount to calling for dismantling of the system. We saw how communism hunted proponents of democracy and vice versa. Still today political Islam is shunned in liberal west. So non-Islamic faith is a direct message to the Islamic system saying “you need to go”.
Quran 7:26
O children of Adam, We have bestowed upon you clothing to conceal your private parts and as adornment. But the clothing of righteousness - that is best. That is from the signs of Allah that perhaps they will remember. (FBL/NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 7:26
The purpose of clothing is mentioned and that the uniqueness of human species above other is evidenced here by virtue of their sense of shame. Clothing can be both physical and spiritual and both kinds cover your shame whether physical shame of your actions. The spiritual clothing is clothing of piety which covers your beliefs and actions from sins.
Quran 7:27
O children of Adam, let not Satan tempt you as he removed your parents from Paradise, stripping them of their clothing to show them their private parts. Indeed, he sees you, he and his tribe, from where you do not see them. Indeed, We have made the devils allies to those who do not believe. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 7:27
The purpose of clothing is to suppress temptation and lust which Satan wants to immerse us in, resulting in sexual hedonism, which ultimately results in godlessness and human self-destruction, as humanity indulges in self-satisfaction through predatory hedonism at any cost. As Satan and his minions can see us in various perspectives then they can whisper in us tempting scenarios regarding sexuality which will lead to overall social degradation.
Quran 5:2
And do not let the hatred of a people for having obstructed you from al-Masjid al-Haram lead you to transgress..(FBL/NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 5:2
Here again Islam rejects collective judgment and punishment of a group of people some members of which were wrongful against Muslims. Islam prohibits avenging the innocent for the crime of the guilty of that group. This is the mentality of tyrants, racists, xenophobic tribalistic people. This justice and equity should be the norm and culture of Muslim individual and collective existence: political, legal, military, security, economic, finance etc.
Quran 4:58
Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Excellent is that which Allah instructs you. Indeed, Allah is ever Hearing and Seeing. (FBL/NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 4:58
This is not only a command for every Muslim but also the overseer of Muslims that is Islamic governance. Just judgment and rendering of rights to the rightful recipient is not generally an everyday activity of people, rather it is an everyday activity of judges and Islamic governance. Maintenance of this state of justice and equitable welfare of people is the primary aim of Islamic rule and governance. The legal system and the judiciary must not be a predatory system but a helpful accessible “service providing” system. Islamic finance from Islamic treasury and policies of the Islamic state must ensure this is achieved.
Quran 4:119
And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them [sinful] desires, and I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of Allah ." And whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of Allah has certainly sustained a clear loss. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 4:119
This verse reveals the agenda of Satanism and Satanists which is make people indulge in their selves and their false morality. One essential trait of this false morality seems to be biological modification of God's creations through unethical experiments. There is a thin line between surgery to heal and surgery to modify and change God's natural creation. Surgery to heal arises out of genuine necessity such as imminent death or chronic suffering whereas surgery to modify arises from expository agenda and "let's see" mindset without ethical prediction and safeguards. The latter is about intent to achieve control, dominance and power at the expense of harming other things. The latter is a deformation of natural design of God.
Quran 5:100
Say, "Not equal are the evil and the good, although the abundance of evil might impress you." So fear Allah, O you of understanding, that you may be successful. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 5:100
The existence of evil and it's agents are there to be hated, resisted and fought in the name and presence of God. God sees our loyalty as a brotherhood and as an individual believer. The earth is a battlefield. The defeat of evil is the expression of God's goodness and justice. Islamic governance and individual piety are two joint shields against evil. Both need each other or else both become vulnerable, weak and even collapses by itself. Unfortunately, Muslims today are driven by the wave and trend because and this has caused Muslim mentality to be be driven towards the trend against what is not the trend that is Islam. This psychological submission to the trend is what confuses Muslims about Islamisation because they are not used to the values of Islam but with the trend, they think Islamisation is something unethical. This hurdle buried deep in our conscience must be erased by faith and determination assisted by philosophical and theological understanding of Islamic values in Quran and sunnah. We must not be afraid of Islamisation just because it is not trendy or fashionable.
Quran 4:83
And when there comes to them information about [public] security or fear, they spread it around. But if they had referred it back to the Messenger or to those of authority among them, then the ones who [can] draw correct conclusions from it would have known about it. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, you would have followed Satan, except for a few. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 4:83
This verse basically establishes the principle of information verification and validation and the necessity to reject fake news. This verse also establishes the need for meritocratic mechanism by which information can be verified and then distributed. Muslims are thus commanded not to spread news without verification from credible authority. The people of intellect and interpretive ability must benefit from news and understand its implications for the society and Islamic rule. This verse thus also establishes the idea behind journalism and media. Ministry of information needs to exist in Islamic rule to check on and make people aware about propaganda and fake news.
Quran 24:61
There is not upon the blind [any] constraint nor upon the lame constraint nor upon the ill constraint nor upon yourselves when you eat from your [own] houses or the houses of your fathers or the houses of your mothers or the houses of your brothers or the houses of your sisters or the houses of your father's brothers or the houses of your father's sisters or the houses of your mother's brothers or the houses of your mother's sisters or [from houses] whose keys you possess or [from the house] of your friend. There is no blame upon you whether you eat together or separately. But when you enter houses, give greetings of peace upon each other - a greeting from Allah, blessed and good. Thus does Allah make clear to you the verses [of ordinance] that you may understand. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 24:61
This verse establishes a very microscopic pivotal relationship on which a greater and far reaching relationship is realized and maintained. The verse removes distinction between the weak and the strong in familial relationship and that there should be no discrimination in feeding and homely care if relatives become guests as visitors. This verse doesn't establish intrusive joint family but encourages that relationship be maintained healthy and roaming. Relatives whether weak or strong must respect privacy of each other as well and the maintenance of relationship also thus depends on non-intrusion and non-imposing attitude.
Quran 28:54
Those will be given their reward twice for what they patiently endured and [because] they avert evil through good, and from what We have provided them they spend. (FBL)
Commentary of Quran 28:54
Note that this verse does not command Muslims to be meek and gullible where you turn the other cheek. What it says here is any evil must be dealt with what is good. This goodness can be anything from forgiveness to resistance of all sorts to judgment through Shariah legal system and Shariah law. Evil cannot be dealt with evil means that you cannot address evil by any means which Islam prohibited. For example, if the disbelievers such as Hindutva massacres Muslim children Muslims must not massacre Hindu children. The evil in this context is collective punishment and Islam prohibits this evil. In this example, dealing with Hindutva collective punishment against Muslims will be to punish Hindutva leaders and the culprits, that is any Hindu who subscribes to Hindutva ideology and believes in it are to be fought, resisted and weakened to the point of their inactivity.
Quran 17:32
And do not approach adultery/fornication. Indeed, it is ever an immorality and is evil as a way. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 17:32
God prohibits approaching adultery or fornication and this is not only prohibition of such but any certain or highly probable means that leads to this. Examples include nudity, porn, prostitution, free mixing in places where male female are at close proximity for prolonged time etc. Even the policy makers in their functional capacity must shun these so they will never ordain policy which establishes roadway to adultery and fornication. The solution to youth sexual tension and hence their certain commitment of unlawful sexual intercourse is monogamy marriage, even better, polygamy so they will never look at other women. Islamic society must normalize polygamy and come to their senses that a polygamy is a social blessing and the best friends’ club. When polygamy is hated that means society is suffering from greed, envy and distrust.
Quran 17:36
And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart - about all those [one] will be questioned. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 17:36
A Muslim must not spread rumors or speak in ignorance. Whenever a Muslim wish to speak about something he or she should have knowledge from sound sources. This inquisitive mind should be trained by strong Islamic education and Islamic familial and social upbringing. From the capacity of Islamic governance, it should prevent rumors, propaganda and fake news. By this no communal violence should ever take place in an Islamic rule.
Quran 41:30
Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is Allah " and then remained on a right course - the angels will descend upon them, [saying], "Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised. (FBL)
Commentary of Quran 41:30
This verse establishes Islamic determination and steadfastness which must be the hallmark feature of Muslims in their personal and collective existence. This determination and steadfastness are their devotion in following and fighting for Islamic existence. Whether a Muslim is steadfast and determined personally or collectively such as politically, this determination and steadfastness is the key to success in both this world and hereafter. In this world Muslims will achieve prosperity by their determined devotion to Islamic rule through devoted research based economic, political and scientific existence. They will not sell their honor and independence to their enemies for short term economic gains. They will seek solutions to their existential problems independently because their independence will define their needs and wants which will make them create their own solutions and remedies without depending on enemies. They will create their personal individual, social, economic, financial, political and security models and frameworks on Quran and Prophet, on Islam and then they will continue to research to sustain and evolve these models and frameworks because they are determined and steadfast on Islam. Once Muslims achieve this in this world, they will achieve success in hereafter as well. Research based means based on knowledge activity, and Islam has placed highest emphasis on seeking and living by knowledge which extends not only to religious knowledge but any knowledge which benefits Muslims and mankind in general. So, Muslims must be the champions in seeking and practicing knowledge on basis of Islamic law. If we Muslims are steadfast and determined on Islam, then God will shower us with more knowledge than He is giving developed western countries. We will be truly able to create another golden age of Islam. Just look at how much steadfast and determined Islamic Iran has succeeded in science even under cruel sanctions by enemies. Imagine how much we can achieve by united steadfastness and determination on Islam and shariah law.
Quran 28:55
And when they hear ill speech, they turn away from it and say, "For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. Peace will be upon you; we seek not the ignorant." (FBL)
Commentary of Quran 28:55
A Muslim must never give support or be in tune and harmony with evil words and statements. Such evil words may manifest in many forms. In current postmodern culture, examples of these evil words will be sexual perversions, slang abusive words, mocking about people's looks and habits, sex stories about stranger women who are not lawful to you etc. A Muslim must always shun people who speak and indulge in evil and have a culture such as this is active among them but Muslims must abandon them. When it comes to Islamic governance Islamic laws must be enforced to ban or censor all indecent, evil words from being publicized. School bullying is also included in this prohibition. This verse also differentiates between sinners and Muslims. This verse groups Muslims together and sinners together. A Muslim thus must always be united with each other. Muslims can coexist united and spread solidarity despite their national, ethnic, racial, cultural and class differences only when their upbringing is monolithic based on Islam. This can best realize when their education is one and their jurisdiction is one, just like one body as prophet said. Colonialism has destroyed our demography by blood and so too by blood we shall be joined whole.
Quran 33:33
And abide in your houses and do not display yourselves as [was] the display of the former times of ignorance. And establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger…(NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 33:33
The best place for a Muslim woman is her house. This is the higher piety because it has been commanded for the wives of prophet as they are special women. This specifically demands a higher form of piety and staying in house as a housewife achieves this piety of her gender and dignity. A house staying woman is a blessing to herself, her family and the society.
Quran 20:131
And do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [some] categories of them, [its being but] the splendor of worldly life by which We test them. And the provision of your Lord is better and more enduring. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 20:131
This is the hedonistic materialism that Quran talks about, that God has allowed for the disbelievers to immerse themselves in and be lost. Due to this secular hedonism their world is paying price. Some of the afflictions that this secular hedonistic world is paying are in family, society, environment, economy and diet. Divorce is increasing due to feminism and porn addiction. Environment is in shatters due to capitalist consumerism. Health is in ruins due to alcohol and tobacco, and other practices. Crimes are increasing and criminals are out of bounds due to a weak pathetic, moral and legal system. Humanity is under chronic persecution due to wars for resources and financial gains by the elites of the disbelievers based in western and communist imperialism. This is the secular hedonistic world that God has afflicted them with. As long as Muslims will not genuinely turn to Islam they will continue to be devoured by this evil world. Further readings

Quran 24:3
The fornicator does not do nikah except with a [female] fornicator or polytheist, and none marries her except a fornicator or a polytheist, and that has been made unlawful to the believers. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 24:3
Nikah in Arabic can mean marriage and sexual intercourse. Here it can mean both. A believer must not marry and not have sexual intercourse with an adulterer or polytheist. This is to safeguard Muslim demography, society and family, especially children upbringing who will be future servers of Islam and Muslim existence. This does not imply that Islamic government must do chastity test to women. Islamic government must respect the privacy of its subjects and must not seek sins of peoples’ private lives. Islamic government must focus on models, frameworks and consequences of people’s actions and relate it to ideas, patterns and trends of socio-cultural existence of diverse mankind to legislate and detect harm and evil.
Quran 24:33
And do not compel your slave girls to prostitution, if they desire chastity, to seek [thereby] the temporary interests of worldly life. And if someone should compel them, then indeed, Allah is [to them], after their compulsion, Forgiving and Merciful. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 24:33
Quran prohibits prostitution. This verse also establishes the principle of fair treatment of slaves against as it existed in the ancient world was cruel and brutal. This shows Islam came to uplift the condition of slaves and gradually result in complete abolishment of this practice. Islamic government must monitor that no people in Islamic rule is organizing crimes or performing them resulting in social and public harm. This verse proves God’s mercy to the oppressed and people under duress.
Quran 24:59
And when the children among you reach puberty, let them ask permission [at all times] as those before them have done. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses; and Allah is Knowing and Wise. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 24:59
This verse teaches familial ethics. Sexual maturity begets privacy of each other. Everyone in a family thus must give space and respect each other’s privacy so that familial intrusion is impeded. Note that this verse implies that sexual maturity be naturally attained and not imbued by sex education or social pornification. Sex education can be taught if necessary, just before a couple decides marriage or after they are married. They may be required by law of the Islamic state to attend sex education class in a segregated environment. West believes in free sex, so they teach the children sex education to prepare them to have sex with their boyfriends.
Quran 49:2
O you who have believed, do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet or be loud to him in speech like the loudness of some of you to others, lest your deeds become worthless while you perceive not. (FBL)
Commentary of Quran 49:2
Prophets are alive according to hadith so even now if Muslims are visiting the blessed grave of prophet in Medina, they must respect the place and talk gently there. This verse is teaching us to respect Prophet in the highest form because validity and acceptance of our actions depend on it.
Quran 49:12
O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 49:12
Suspicious relationship has destroyed Muslim demography, and this has created divisions among Muslims from various nationalities, backgrounds and ethnicities. Suspicion has caused Muslims to create laws that are unjust and cruel. Suspicion is unjustified unverified opinion, and this must be abandoned. Muslim social relationship must abhor back biting and spying on each other. The Muslims must not behave like the Nazis of Germany where everyone was spying on each other. So basically, unjustified unverified and presumptuous opinion acquired by observation or spying or by mental activity must be abandoned by Islamic society.
Quran 2:102
And they followed [instead] what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut. But the two angels do not teach anyone unless they say, "We are a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing magic]." And [yet] they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife. But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of Allah . And the people learn what harms them and does not benefit them. But the Children of Israel certainly knew that whoever purchased the magic would not have in the Hereafter any share. And wretched is that for which they sold themselves, if they only knew. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 2:102
Magic is prohibited. By magic cheap tricks are not meant but the real magic is achieved by collaboration with the Djinns. The Islamic government must implement a security segment to monitor magic, cult and anti-Islamic heretical activities. This security apparatus must be trained to identify and detect magic, cult and heretical praxis. Studies on world mythologies, cults, magic of ancient times and current trends etc. should be incorporated in their training syllabus. Learning magic to use it is prohibited but understanding it basically to stop magic is essential. This verse also exposes the evil of Children of Israel. Note that Israel as mentioned in Quran is not a state/country but a people and so it cannot be justified to say Israel existed before Palestine and also the Children of Israel were middle easterners not some European converted Jews.
Quran 24:27-28
O you who have believed, do not enter houses other than your own houses until you ascertain welcome and greet their inhabitants. That is best for you; perhaps you will be reminded. And if you do not find anyone therein, do not enter them until permission has been given you. And if it is said to you, "Go back," then go back; it is purer for you. And Allah is Knowing of what you do. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 24:27-28
Quran has proposed the law of trespassing before America. In another verse command of asking permission is given and in this verse, what needs to be done once permission is given. Peace and greetings must be given to the residents. Police, army, public servants and even normal citizens anyone who enters citizens’ house must behave civilized and well mannered. In absence of anyone no one can enter the house of another. Islam is thus teaching to respect people's privacy and their dignity. What happens if a house is a base for criminal activities? Can security forces enter it without permission? Yes. It is because the normal circumstance of human to human interaction and the meaning of house has been violated. Just as no consideration is given to evil mosque (masjid dirar) so too a evil house. This is to safeguard public security and welfare and the dignity and welfare of all houses.
Quran 33:36
It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error. (FBL/NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 33:36
A Muslim must have sincere intention to follow Islam. There are misguided people whose intention is to accommodate Islam with their philosophy and desires instead of they conforming to Islam. So a sincere intention to follow Islam with the belief that it is God given religion, is needed first. It is how you approach Islam to follow it is the main metric of sincerity. A Muslim must work and act to realize Islam instead of changing Islam to realize his or her own ideas and philosophies, as is the case of liberals and scholars of royals. Understand Islam objectively without any agenda or bias or socio-cultural ethnocentrism.
Quran 93:10
And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 93:10
Prophet has been commanded not to turn away those who ask in need. We must also follow our Prophet. It is not our duty to suspect the needy beggar or homeless on how he or she spends money but if we have any amount, we must give them some without turning back. There are two types of seekers: one who ask to you one on one and other who sits in a corner and asks to public. Giving the first type is obligatory while the second is recommended. In fact, in an Islamic state there should be no beggars or homeless. The Islamic government must house them, feed them and train them to be moral, mannered and pious. When the Islamic government is unable to create a wide-ranging social welfare model then they must seek help by crowdfunding from the citizens of Islamic jurisdiction. Organized charity is more efficient than random isolated charity.
Quran 58:9
O you who have believed, when you converse privately, do not converse about sin and aggression and disobedience to the Messenger but converse about righteousness and piety. And fear Allah, to whom you will be gathered. (FBL/NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 58:9
The believers must always talk through piety and righteousness even when they are conversing in private one to one. The conversational culture of believers must be based on goodwill of all believers and creation of God and that they must also be aware not to forget the oppressed and the wronged. A society is defined by how it talks among itself, how it's people converse with each other.
Quran 58:11
O you who have believed, when you are told, "Space yourselves" in assemblies, then make space; Allah will make space for you. And when you are told, "Arise," then arise; Allah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do. (NFBL)
Commentary of Quran 58:11
The etiquette of assembly, seminar, meeting etc. must respect people's physical distance and its privacy so that they can give attention to what is being said or presented. It will be a disturbance and discomfort when people come very close to each other in such occasions. It is also an issue of security. It addresses this issue because a gathering can have important significance for the people, society and Islam and this importance must be realized by people through proper organization to help them be attentive receptor.
Quran 66:6
O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded. (FBL)
Commentary of Quran 66:6
God is commanding us to save ourselves and our families from hell. This is best done by proper upbringing in an Islamic education, an Islamic society under Islamic rule. However current society is based on sins and misguidance and secular Muslim rulers have no understanding about Islam or the needs of Muslims. These misguided people are just copying everything from those who have created an unIslamic model for their existence.

- No critical argument or rebuttal against online propaganda because online media is mostly anti-Islam and do not allow genuine criticism against Islamophobia. Also, in Muslim countries no effective information imparting model has been implemented towards the people neither by education, nor media nor strong critical preachers such as Zakir Naik or Ahmet Deedat, as these are either underdeveloped or shunned in the name of fake tolerance.
- Muslims are not exposed to Islamic philosophical and religious arguments to have a strong footing in dialectics and Islamic apologetic, so they are easy prey to propaganda by enemies.
- Apostates ruling Muslim countries want to detach Muslims from Quran and Islam by information suppression and promoting anti-Islam propaganda, yet only allowing selective parts of Islam such as rituals. This is a model to transform Islam like what happened with Christianity during Roman paganization.
